General Conditions for the Arboliz Rural Guesthouse
AVAILABILITY AND BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Within 48 of the acceptance of the "Pre-booking " by the owner, the guest must transfer the advance payment to the current account given or provide his/her credit card details, in order to formalise the Booking, indicating his/her name and the days of the stay.
The amount to be paid will be:
For bookings of 1 or 2 nights the amount will be for one night's stay.
For bookings of more than 3 nights, 40% of the total price of the services requested. The remaining amount must be paid on arrival at the establishment.
After this period, if payment has not been received, the establishment reserves the right to offer the accommodation to other potential guests.
Once the advance payment has been received, we will send you the booking confirmation. The booking is not confirmed until the owner has received the advance payment, and you have received the confirmation.
The cost of the bank transfer must be met by the guest, and must never be deducted from the rental price.
Requesting or receiving information about the Availability of the establishment does not imply the acceptance of the Booking by the owner.
CANCELLATION
In the event that a booking is cancelled, before the guest arrives at the establishment, a series of cancellation costs will be applied according to the notice given to cancel the booking. All the costs derived from this will be charged to the guest. The percentages will be applied on the amount paid in advance. The penalisation intervals and percentages applied are as follows:
10% if the cancellation is made more than 30 days in advance.
50% if the cancellation is made between 15 and 30 days in advance.
100% if the cancellation is made less than 15 days in advance.
In the event that the guest leaves the establishment before the departure date agreed between the two parties, the full amount agreed for the room will be charged as compensation for damages.
ARRIVAL
The arrival times at the establishment will be from 1 pm to 6 pm. If for any reason you plan to arrive before or after this time period, please inform us and we will do our best to receive you at the desired time.
Except via prior agreement, the guest must occupy the room before 6 pm on the expected day of arrival. If this is not the case, the room can be rented by other guests from that time.
It is obligatory for each guest to fill out and sign an occupation card that the owner is obliged to hand over to the Ertzaintza (Basque Police Force) as well as an admission card which includes the services requested by the guest. This document is considered a contract between the two parties.
The guest is obliged to pay the price of the services as soon as the bill is presented, under no circumstances will he/she be exempt from this payment even when a claim has been presented.
DEPARTURE
Unless the owner and the guest have reached a written agreement, the guest and all his/her companions must leave the Rural Guesthouse before 12 pm on the stipulated day. If you require a late departure, please request it before you arrive and we will do all we can to meet your requirements.
NUMBER AND IDENTIFICATION OF THE GUESTS
The guest must inform the owner of the number of people included in the booking. Only the number of people indicated in the booking confirmation has the right to occupy the accommodation and the premises. (Pets are not allowed inside the establishment). In the event of any non-compliance with the above-mentioned obligations, the owner, at his/her own discretion, has the right to ask the guest to vacate the establishment and the guest will have no right to any compensation.
BEHAVIOUR
The guest that signs the admission card is responsible for the correct behaviour of all the people that accompany him/her. If this person or any of his/her companions does not behave appropriately and responsibly, the owner is authorised to ask the guest and his/her companions to leave the establishment immediately without the guest having any right to any type of compensation.
RESPONSIBILITY
The establishment is not responsible to any guest for any loss, damage, cancellation or any other additional cost suffered by the guest, or for any cause that is out of the owner's control.
The owner is not responsible for the loss or leaving behind of objects, however, if anything is found in the establishment when cleaning, they will have no objection in sending it to the address given via cash-on delivery.
It is not permitted to remove from the establishment any utensils, bedclothes, blankets, etc...
In the event that any damage is caused please inform the owner and always before departure from the
establishment, to prevent any misunderstandings. The guest will have to pay the cost of the damage.
The owner would be grateful for any suggestions you can offer to make future stays more pleasant.
Our main objective is for the guest to have a good experience during his/her stay at Arboliz Rural Guesthouse.
Please note that the time of departure is at 12 pm. A complaints book is available to all guests.
